Can we see dolphins/ whales at Moreton Island?


Yes! Our 1 Day Moreton Island Cruise with Dolphin Viewing Itinerary offers guests a chance see friendly dolphins as they come ashore for their nightly feed in Moreton Island. There is a Whale Watching Cruise from June to October also available.


How long is the ferry from Brisbane to Moreton Island?


Travelling time is just 75 minutes each way on our Moreton Island Tours.


Can we snorkel with the shipwrecks?


Yes! We offer a Wreck Snorkelling Tour, where guests can discover coral formations and marine life at the Tangalooma Wrecks.


Do we have access to the resort on Moreton Island?


Yes! All our tours offer you full use of the Tangalooma Resort facilities.


What is the Desert Safari?


Our Moreton Island Tours offer a Desert Safari Experience, where travellers can head to Tangalooma Desert for a 4WD adventure, as well as trying their hand at sand tobogganing (if the weather is permitting).

Is pickup/ drop off included for the tours?


No, For our Moreton Island Tours, you must meet the tour at Holt Street Wharf, but there are return transfers available for an additional $25. Our Sunshine Coast Hinterland & Noosa Tour and North Stradbroke Island Tour begin at Bus stop 125.
