Chill with cuddly koalas at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is one of Australia’s oldest conservation projects, dating all the way back to the 1920s! The park has long provided a safe haven for what is, in our humble opinion, the world’s most adorable animal – the koala bear!

The sanctuary continues to provide an amazing place for these loveable leave-eaters to hang out, climb around, be a little lazy and generally live a pretty darn good life. But what makes Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary so special is that you get to enjoy it with the koalas.

The sanctuary provides the opportunity for visitors to connect and learn all about these little eucalyptus scoffers, including the importance of ongoing conservation.

So, what are some of the awesome activities you can partake in at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary?

Daily activities with koalas, dingoes, lorikeets & more

While the sanctuary is renowned as a koala haven, it is also home to a number of other adorable Aussie animals that visitors can get up close and personal with on their visit to the park!

The sanctuary hosts an ongoing schedule of daily activities with fun experiences like lorikeet feeding, dingo photo opportunities and sheepdog shows. All these are amazing activities, but the starring attraction of Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary has to be what it is named for – the koala! Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a range of cool koala experiences, including cuddles and photo opportunities.

Visitors can also feed the park’s resident kangaroos and wallabies, as well as see incredible raptor shows that teach them about the unrivalled hunting abilities of Australian eagles, falcons, owls and kites.

Enjoy an amazing day for a good cause

At a time when environmental protection, and especially that of our native animals, is at threat, contributing to the conservation project by simply paying it a visit is a fun, memorable and helpful way to help Australian conservation efforts.

Most of all, you get to experience some of these amazing creatures in a safe and vibrant environment. For lovers of all things cuddly, furry, feathery or scaly, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the perfect day out!

Be sure to snap up your tickets for one of the joyous animal experiences and enjoy what is sure to be an amazing day at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
