Brisbane has different markets throughout the week selling fresh produce, homeware items and baked goods.

One of the best ways to start your morning in Brisbane is by checking out the local markets. Buy a freshly made coffee then wander through the markets and stop at the stalls that pique your interest.

Ready to go? Here are three markets to check out one morning in Brisbane.

1. Brisbane City Markets

The Brisbane City Markets has a selection of fresh produce, from meats, seafood, baked goods, artisan goods, and much more. You can grab some street eats as you’re checking out the other stalls and a small gift for yourself.

There are three different locations for these markets. Cathedral Square is open on Thursdays, Reddacliff Place is open on Wednesdays, and St Stephen’s Cathedral is open on Tuesdays.

2. West End Farmers Markets

With over 150 market stalls to see, there will be something for you to buy at the West End Farmers Markets. These markets have a bit of everything from fresh farm produce to delicious street eats, fashion, handcrafted goods and much more.

The market is held every Saturday morning near the Brisbane River, so head down early and see for yourself one of the best Saturday morning markets.

3. Saturday Fresh Markets

The Saturday Fresh Markets is in Rocklea and is Brisbane’s biggest fresh food and lifestyle market. The markets have a large selection of meats, poultry, baked goods, fruits, and vegetables. Some stalls sell homewards, lifestyle products, and even plants!

The Saturday Fresh Markets is open, you guessed it, every Saturday! Whether it’s raining or not, these markets will be running under the roof of the Brisbane Produce Market.

Brisbane has so many different markets that vary from fresh local produce to handmade craft items and delicious food to eat on the go. Maybe one of these markets has become your new favourite market!
